As humans we were born to move. From infancy we inherently learned to stabilize, balance and control our movement. Throughout life injuries, repetitive stress, poor posture, and lifestyle choices teach your body to compensate, developing poor movement patterns. Once learned, these compensatory patterns of movement lead us down a path of overuse and dysfunction, significantly increasing our injury risk. At Align, we believe that corrective exercise is an integral part to any training program. The corrective exercise phase of your training program focuses on improving muscle balance, minimizing injury, and maximizing results by restoring your ability to move properly.
Prior to Corrective Exercise Training, we will establish baselines with our Functional Assessments to help us design an individualized training plan targeted to your specific needs, monitor your progress throughout training, and make sound judgement in how to progress your training plan.
